    Uncle Angelo says:

"I remember when patrujo was just a baby. He wasn't the mewling fiend you now see before you. Strength, wisdom, and intestinal fortitude are traits that have seemed to have left patrujo far behind-- long, long ago....

And speaking of partujo's "far behind", he has been known to actually take photos with his ass (look Ma', no hands!). He therefore had a brief stint as a circus geek outside of Sandusky, Ohio, and was was called "The Human Rear-View Mirror" and would take smudgy Polaroid photos of patrons for five buck a throw. This was short lived but allowed patrujo the grubsteak he needed to move to NYC, and eventually loose his family's small fortune (which consisted primarily of their double-wide trailer on premium leased land (near the quarry, down by the river).

So, although I was originally, always a little concerned about his lack of 'regular' people skills; patrujo has shown, through his body of work, to have more than made up for any lack thereof. I am proud to have known him during the brief time that I did, and although he now repeatedly fails to return my calls, I wish him the utmost success on his new photographic endevour.

    75' says:

"Frank Patrujo..well, you know, he my bestest friend in the whole wide world. He's also given life to my alter ego, Bruce Hastings. What can i say: In all seriousness, Jae is the greatest artist, "creator", & visionary i know. If it weren't for him i'd still be living out in the Allegheny Mountain boondocks area w. my mother. Also, if it weren't of Jae i'd have never started painting. I love doing photo shoots / "stills from films that don't yet exist" w. Jae. It's some of the best fun i have. Of course, i just simply love hanging around w. him. He's so much fun, & one of the kindest most selfless people i know. Jae is, without a doubt, the most "natural" artist i know. He lives and breathes art...In fact it's rather obvious to those who know him that he's simply "addicted" to it. Not a day goes by that he doesn't do a photo shoot..or a drawing...a painting..an etching...or "something". If he's not working he's miserable...and that's def. not a good thing (especially for those people who know him well). Jae SHOULD post a bunch of his older etchings which, in my opinion, are some of his very best pieces. Yes...Jae is rather awesome at most all forms of art. If you like his photos (which are, obviously, amazing)..you'd also love his etchings, drawings, & paintings. Fans of jae's should bug him and encourage him to show us a "bit more". Now, of course, he's a proud & stubborn artist who would only care to publicly display what he considers to be his best & most current work. But so much of his past work (in other mediums) is just so terrific. I love jae. If either of us were more than "part gay" i'd have him be my lover. I'd cuddle with him & hold him all day & night & never let him go (even though he's jittery & stinky)."
