Patrik Neckman is a 33 year old curious and positive student of life and head hunter within the fmcg sector in Stockholm, Sweden, interested in hiking, running, adventures, hunting, photography and remodelling. And a happy, positive and non-prejudicial who enjoys life with my wife and son and an active spare time with my friends.

I got my first slr camera in 1998 (Minolta 500si) and it opened my eyes to the world of photography and I literately brought it everywhere (throughout my military service, on vacations and on rough parties). Thank you mom and dad!

Ten years later I upgraded it to my dslr Sony Alpha 700, which I've also brought with me on every occasion. I believe it's important to be able to document even though I'm in a rocky wet kayak, in the middle of the damp and muddy jungle or on a tidy middle age birthday party.
For an amateur photographer like me (got paid with a musical ticket once) my equipment is pretty expensive (to me) (>$4,000/€3,000), but I enjoy it very, very much.

I tend to spend some considerable time in the digital darkroom and edit every single picture, at least a bit, before I publish it.

I find Flickr a very, very inspiring and helpful site, which enhances my creativity and augments my experience and know-how.

I signed up on Flickr in January 2008 (under a different username) and love to share my photos as long as you give me the credit, if you re-publish it somewhere.
