Hallo Leute!

Ich heiße Patrick, bin 30 Jahre alt und wohne seit Februar 2008 in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern,
ein gutes Stück weg von meiner Heimat, dem Saarland.
Wie's dazu kam?
Von 2000 bis 2006 habe ich in Karlsruhe Kartografie studiert (eins meiner Hobbies) und war erstmal lange auf Arbeitssuche.
Eine verheißungsvolle Stelle in Saarbrücken hat sich buchstäblich in Luft aufgelöst, jedoch habe ich dann Anfang 2008 meinen Traumjob in Schwerin gefunden :)
Im Mai 2010 stand dann ein Umzug nach Wismar an, da meine Firma dorthin umzog. Seitdem lebe ich in meiner ersten eigenen (Miet-)Wohnung!

Abends sitze ich dann meist am Computer, surfe im Internet
und arbeite an meiner Autobahn-Homepage oder bin am Flickern.
Am Wochenende stehen dann meist Städtetrips, Shoppingtouren und Autobahnbaustellenbesichtigungen auf dem Programm.
In meiner Wohnung rumhängen und nichts tun? Gibt's nicht!

Hi!

My name is Patrick, I'm 30 years old and live in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania since February 2008,
quite a bit away from home, the Saarland.
How did this happen?
I studied from 2000 to 2006 cartography in Karlsruhe (one of my hobbies)
and searched a long time for a job.
A promising job in Saarbrücken ended in smoke, but in the beginning of 2008,
I found my dream job in Schwerin :)
In May 2010, I moved to Wismar because my office moved there, too. Since then, I live in my first own (rented) apartment!

In the evening, I sit mostly at my computer, surf the web and work at my homepage (German autobahns) or at my Flickr page.
At the weekend, I mostly take a look at cities in the surrounding area, make shopping trips and inspect autobahn construction sites.
Hanging around in my flat and doing nothing? No way!
