This fall, I will be starting work on my PhD in mechanical engineering at the University of Illinois in Champaign. I completed my MBA in business administration and Master of Engineering in mechanical engineering at the University of Louisville in the summer of 2008. I completed my Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering at UofL in the summer of 2006. After completing my PhD, I plan on pursuing a career in MEMS research and development in an industrial setting. I enjoy all outdoor activities, including snow boarding, camping, whitewater rafting, playing soccer, and hiking, along with working out. I have my private pilot's license with an instrument rating and have been flying for 4 years with 200+ accumulated hours. I am also an alumni member of the University of Louisville Formula SAE Team, which builds a formula style race-car from scratch every year and competes in Detroit.
