About Me:
I am known as Patty. I love photography, although dancing took front page for a number of years. Probably lack of equipment kept me from doing as much photography as I would have liked.

While my children were young I used a Mamiya twin lens Reflex Camera to photograph them. I didn't have the time or finances to really understand and use the camera properly although I was quite happy with the outcome of my portraits. From there I purchased a Canon AE1. The Nikon Coolpix was my first digital camera and frustration was the name of the game. I missed more shots than you can imagine due to the lag time.

Moving up slowly I now shoot with a Canon 7D. I've been happy with the results thus far. I add to my lens and equipment collection as I can and learn from attending meetup groups, The Baltimore Camera Club, and by looking at so many photos in flickr. I'd like to be able to retire and devote a lot more time to my photography. Hopefully some day that will come true.
