these are some of the things that made me slow down, take a moment, smile or sigh or laugh or scream or somehow shut off the autopilot so that i might really take notice of the world, or at least one small part of it, before continuing on my way.

recently transplanted to san francisco and falling in love with it. working on establishing roots. i'm a lefty liberal social worker therapist. laughter and drumming and making stuff and the sound of the ocean are good therapy for me. i like walking, chatting with strangers, and being surprised by what's around the next corner, but not necessarily what's next in my life.
