I'm a teenage photographer living in central California. Nature is awesome. Hiking is a passion of mine and I capture what I find with my Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi. I previously used a Canon PowerShot S3 IS. I started taking pictures 3 years ago when I went hiking. Winter waterfalls and spring fields are some of the more common elements of my photostream.
Being an in-camera purist, I do not use Photoshop on my pictures and rarely adjust anything other than exposure and contrast. Most of my photos are not edited at all. It's all about going out when the conditions and lighting are right (or epic, which is frequently the case when storm systems pass through).
Please do not use my photos without my permission.

mags_Tag says:
"Joe likes the things I do: food, flowers and forests (not necessarily in that order). When you view his photos you will immediately notice his phenomenal talent and also his love to try new things --be it a new lens, a new reicpe or a new park. His work is so incredible. I think I start every comment with "wow" and then hit the "fave" button. Thanks for your friendship and support."

The Man in Red says:
"Parsec was my first experience with what makes flickr so wonderful, he is my first real contact. Someone that shares my interests in photography and definitely beyond. I couldn't image flickr without Parsec!
From his photography it will immediately be apparent that he is a renaissance man, with a broad and diverse knowledge about many of the subjects he captures with exceptional photographic skill. He has a wonderful path ahead of him, stay tuned..."24th August, 2008
