Hi...

I generally don't prefer to write about myself. But after a couple of years spent at flickr, I felt I have to write something about "me"...

My Photography History:
I'm into photography for 3 "real" years. But there is some background...My first camera was an analog point and shoot, it was like a toy! and I used only for 1 roll of film! :) Then I bought my first digital, a mustek GSmart Mini - 0,8 Megapixel...yes...it was 0,8 mp, not even 1 mp! It was the tiniest camera I have ever saw! smaller then your palm...I took many legs, butts etc with it! :)) sorry girls...

then I bought some other cameras...

- Samsung S500 (cheap and nice camera with manual mode)
- Panasonic blabla (it was very bad)
- Fuji s6500 (keep away; creates thousands of white dots in long exposures)
- Fuji s8000 (nice camera again, very zoomy and Image Stabilizer...)
- Olympus sp650 (nice, but not ergonomic)
- Nikon D80 (not very sturdy...but good for sure)
- Nikon D200 (very sturdy...pic quality is same with D80)
- Nikon D300 (very sturdy...better then D200 in picture quality)

In time...I met a great guy, who share all his photography experience with me. I really appreciate his help and supports! He has a very valuable place in my heart...

That guy taught me the value of the lenses with fixed focal length...and I started to buy them. My first lens was the kit lens of my D80...and second one was a 50mm f1.8...

Now I own (or I was owning...) these lenses...in order of appaerance! :))

- 50mm f1.8 (cheap and great lens. it's very soft at 1.8 but you can use it for your advantage! old ladies hate seeing wrinkles in photos!!!)
- 20mm f2.8 (expensive, sturdy and very good lens! if you need it...that's it! I sold it because I needed money for D300 and was never using it!)
- 35mm f2.8 (very old manual lens, tack sharp even in 2.8! sometimes it's sharpness is tooo much!)
- 105mm f2.5 (a little soft at 2.5, tack sharp from f2.8 to f11!)
- 105mm Sigma Macro (Autofocus...is a wonderful technology LOL)

So...

I like taking glamour shots...

I played basketball for 11 years and have been playing guitar for almost 8 years, but I quit guitar because of photography. It's much more fun and more share-able. In my daily life I play guitar everyday for a couple of minutes and I like to skate (I have a pair of inline skates). I skate 20 km 3 times in a week.

I like listening to rock, metal and classic music! I like the feeling of speed during skating! But I hate the feeling of an unexpected obstacle or children on my way! :))) and if you are fast enough...you can see the sky in a blink of an eye! it means you are lying on the ground and people is wondering if you are ok or not! :))) LOL it's really funny...

Thank you for visiting my profile and reading all the un-needed details :))

"PS is one of those rare folks on Flickr. I first met him last winter when he stopped by my photostream and commented on one of my images. I was having a little problem with postprocessing the background.

Before I knew it, he shot me an email with the image completed and explanation on how to get it done. His willingness to help others is gratefully appreciated.

His work is unique and creative. He has an excellent sense of vision and never ceases to surprise with his images!

We are fortunate to have him in our community."
