I see the world through my camera. I only began serious photography when I received my Nikon D200 in 2006. Prior to that I lugged my smaller digital cameras around with me, to snap memorable moments of my children, family and activities.

Photography seems to run in my family. It all began with my father, who spent many years in a darkroom, developing his perfect shots. He is our go-to man for all things photo.

His love for photography was passed down to my older sister, brother and I. Since we became Flickr addicts, our mother has purchased a fantastic camera and is also a Flickr addict.

So Flickr has become a communication of sorts for all of us. It is how we share our thoughts, feelings, visions, and outings with one another and our growing group of Flickr family and friends. It is how they have watched my children grow. It is how we have watched our talent grow.

So now, you will never catch me on a day without my trusty camera backpack, loaded with my D200, extra batteries and favorite lens. I am ready at anytime to catch that perfect shot.
