Usually pargee is:
- a family name, not very common but existing in English speaking countries
- an abbreviation for 'Parametric generalized estimation equation' (now don't ask me what that is...;)
- a name for a certain geographic spot in Australia: Pargee's Cove or similar, possibly 'cos some Pargee's live or have lived there.

pargee is also my personal logo and author's sign. It's not my real name. My Flickr name is Parg which is also not real but the initials of my real name. pargee(at)gmx.ch is my valid email address.

While the upper is somehow near truth, my career led me neither to athlete nor acting but to psychology and social work.

I'm doing photography and image processing as a balance to my profession. Since I bought my first digital camera in '96 (what a development since then!) this hobby draws me to my PC more and more, sometimes longer than enough. It's simply groovy and fascinating, and I'm still learning how to realize my ideas (mostly by trial and error method :-).

Well I can live with this description however I do not only see the beautiful side of our world (as a matter of fact there's quite a lot going wrong), and it's part of my incentive to contribute to its change with my work and with my art.

A large number of the pics done by me and my computer have never seen a camera from the inside, i.e. they are digital patterns produced by computer programs and altered by digital filters. For a smaller number of them I used a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT and the lenses EF-S 18-55mm II or EF-S 55-250mm IS.

All my pictures are intended to be viewed on a screen, backlighted. In print the pics have a different effect, and framed just the same. Personally I prefer them unframed, but within a suitable black, dark-grey oder somehow dark-colored environment.

If you like one of the pics you may actually do with it whatever you want. You may use it as a wallpaper for your desktop, or you may print and frame it and hang it on a wall, but:
You may not sell it, nor ask money for it in any other way.
If you want to use one or more pics on another webpage put a link back to the page you got it from.

All my pics are subject to the Creative Commons license 3.0, saying you may use it the way you want as long as its author is named, as long as it isn't changed in any way, and as long as noone charges money for it. These pictures are my unpaid and unpayable contribution to variegate time and space for everybody that's going to view them. Have fun!
