"Ecco un autore in cui, è il caso di dirlo, per molti versi mi “rifletto”. E sono soprattutto le immagini che esplorano un mondo altro, specchiate sulle superfici più o meno liquide, che ci mostrano quella realtà fantastica che non tutti riecono a cogliere né a percepire.
Imparare a guardare oltre ciò che è visibile e mostrarlo nei suoi aspetti più variegati, è segno di una sensibilità artistica non comune.
Personalmente è da una decina di anni che ho iniziato ad esplorare fotograficamente l’universo di ombre e riflessi, così ricco e fertile di immagini sorprendenti e affascinanti. Ora, in qualche modo, mi rivedo nel lavoro di Paolo Pizzimenti, che ci regala le sue opere con un tocco sapiente di neo-impressionismo, dove i colori rivivono liberi dai recinti formali, regalando gioia e piacere allo sguardo.
