When not in the Courtrooms of South Florida searching for truth, I work as a nature and fine art photographer. I specialize in photographing Florida. Lately, I discovered the Southwest United States and have made a vow to return there every year until I can photograph the entire area.

It may take a lifetime, but what's a lifetime without beauty? The wonderful thing about being out in the field whether in the Glades or in the desert is that there I can get away from the loons (and I don't mean birds) that I have to deal with each day.

When away from the natural world, I will also take images of people and things; especially anything that has a Florida flavor. Many of the images your see here are for sale. Email me and left me know the image and size, and I will send you a quote.

"The grand show is eternal. It is always sunrise somewhere; the dew is never dried all at once; a shower is forever falling; vapor is ever rising. Eternal sunrise, eternal dawn and gloaming, on sea and continents and islands, each in its turn, as the round earth rolls." - John Muir

Photography by Claudia Fanelli, LLC says:
"Michael once told me that God doesn't like it when we don't take the time to enjoy what He has made and that is something by which he lives. He not only takes the time to appreciate nature and everything that surrounds him but to beautifully capture it and then share it with others. A man with such talent should rightfully have a huge ego but Michael does not. He shares his talent and expertise with other photographers without hesitation, paying forward the help he received when he started out.
His avian subjects as well as his landscapes are among his most stunning and I am proud to have his works displayed in my home, including a portrait of my children.
I am also privileged to count him among my close friends."26th May, 2010

Fraggle Red says:
"OK, this is now really long overdue. I am afraid I just not that good with words, but it has to be said... I 'met' Michael probably 1 1/2 years ago, shortly after he signed up to Flickr. I stumbled across his photostream and was mesmerized by his fantastic landscape and wildlife shots. He is to blame that I am chasing birds with my camera now. And aside from being a great photographer he is also a fantastic teacher and always has a good advise at hand for us (read me) absolute beginner. Thank you, my friend, for being my inspiration and teacher. Happy shooting and I look forward to many more of your wonderful shots."

"I can say alot but guess I have to keep it short. I came in contact with Michael thorugh FLICKR, it was one of his photos from Anhinga Trail at Everglades National Park that caught my eye and made me want to get to another level, I'm definitely not there yet, but I'm moving forward, guess that's what matters. Michael has also taught me alot answering all of my many questions, I so appreciate the time he has invested in teaching me much of what has helped me improve. Michael and the superb quality of his work has been a great inspiration to me. Thanks Michael, Muchisimas gracias!."

"A walk through Michael's photostream is a walk to Florida's wild side. His photos of birds are of the highest quality. He shows his home state in the best possible light, whether it's a sunset/sunrise over the ocean or the drama of the Everglades. You will be enlightened, entertained but never disappointed by his photos and time spent here."

"No testimonials!?
I wish I could find words of sufficient eloquence to describe Michael's work. Wildlife, cityscape, people, landscape, sand, sky, water; a photostream of quality and diversity reflecting an awareness of surroundings, a photographic eye, a mastery of equipment, and unsurpassed photo excellence.
Thank you, Michael, for sharing your wonderful art."3rd November, 2006
