i was born in 1967 in athens, greece, where i now live

my photographs have been published in various electronic and print media [please see below: "published images"], shown during ‘lookout’ [athens, 2003], and at the group show ‘capturing utopia’ [athens, 2005]. during ‘blind date #12’ [athens, 2006], together with maria konti, we set up the installation llel / lir / lyr. in march 2011, i showed the installation les mains d' hypnos -on poetry by rene char- at the "icono-poiesis" group show [m.cacoyannis foundation, athens]

during november 2007-january 2008, a specially written poem accompanied -as a colour copy of the manuscript- eleni theofilaktou's exhibition 'darling i'm clearing up' [tint gallery, thessaloniki]. during the 2nd athens biennale / 'heaven', i took part in 'poetica residenza arcadia' [june 2009]. on 15 march 2010, a commissioned poem accompanied a photograph by efi panagoula on www.flickr.com/photos/365filoi/

my first book of poems, to sosivio [the lifesaver], was published in october 2008 by kastaniotis editions [reprinted march 2009]

my poems -which were presented during the 1997 series of readings, '16 young greek poets', and received second prize at the 1998 'first meeting of young artists [vakalo art school]'- as well as translations of poems by seamus heaney, andrew motion, thom gunn, robert creeley, and various japanese poets, have appeared in greek literary reviews
