Paige Saez is interested in ubiquitous computing for large scale social networks and the intersections of art, design and social cohesion. She has designed and built mobile augmented reality applications, RFID enabled cellphone wallets, and worked on a number of geospatial mapping applications.

As a social interaction designer, industrial designer and social entrepreneur living in San Francisco, California she spends a lot of time thinking about critical theory, advertising, user experience and architecture.

She is on the steering committee of the Portland chapter of IXDA, is the co-founder of Makerlab.com a location-based applications development company, was a Community Manager for the map-based social Platial.com, co-founded Wherecamp.org, is the Director of the West Coast's first and only Media Lab at Gaffta.org, and in 2010 founded SenseCamp, a unconference on the future of humans, computers and sensor networks. Previous to this she ran her own artist residency program, and founded 3 non-profit artist-run galleries.
