OXOSSI was created to be the leading harbinger of the global intellectual revolution and a catalyst for social change. Designers Tai Rotan and Atu Nii-Owoo, first had the idea to elevate the consciousness of today's society by using fashion as a medium in July of 2003. OXOSSI's creators acknowledge and address the absence of positive and socially relevant figures being promoted in fashion and other mass media outlets.

OXOSSI seeks to remedy the glorification of the negative aspects of our world culture which are currently being glorified and applied to every facet of our society, including fashion. The OXOSSI line is designed with a universal appeal in mind. Tai and Atu have created stylish garments that are rich with original artwork and meaningful design, propelling the brand into the future with the focus of not only clothing it's clientele, but feeding their social consciousness as well. We here at OXOSSI have a mission to illuminate, through fashion, the power of the human spirit and the magnificent achievements of historical figures who have impacted our culture so profoundly.

Each OXOSSI Shirt is hand crafted and designed with original art work. OXOSSI uses 100% Fine Jersey cotton, combed for softness and comfort. Each garment has a stylish fit on virtually any body type. Each shirt comes with a cotton stretchable collar for increased comfort and durability, reinforced shoulder construction to maintain shape through repeated washings and a durable double-stitched bottom hem.
