Our Creative Talent was a one-day conference in London, UK on 2nd July 2008 organised by The Department for Culture, Media and Sport, Arts Council England and Voluntary Arts England.

The conference focused on:

• Recognising the scale and nature of the voluntary and amateur arts sector
• Understanding the potential the voluntary sector offers in relation to central and local government objectives – particularly in widening arts participation and stimulating innovation
• Identifying the support the sector needs to play a fuller role

On 1st July there was a special Voluntary Arts Evening Event. This separate event was hosted by the Carnegie (UK) Trust, Voluntary Arts England and the Media Trust. Photos from this event appear in a special "Voluntary Arts Evening" set..

Rather than simply document the event, the organisers worked with the Internationale to create an open source phtography story of the day where delegates could capture the event on their mobile phones and upload them to the special site... here.

The event was organised by Events Northern.
