I'm a web developer and train buff from the Twin Cities. Railroad photography is what motivates to maintain a Flickr account, although a few random photos of family and friends may wander into the stream from time to time.

I shoot a Canon EOS 40D coupled with one of the following:
 • Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5
 • Sigma 17-70mm f/2.8-4.5 DC IF Macro
 • Canon 70-200mm f/4 L

When conditions warrant, I occasionally use a Manfrotto 055XPROB tripod + 322RC2 head.

I've been fortunate to have my photos published in print by Trains, Railfan & Railroad, The Soo, Wisconsin Trails, and Canadian Pacific. My images have earned People's Choice Awards, Photo of the Week, and Screener's Choice Awards at that popular train photo site, and a good number of my images have made Explore.
