Started out using film cameras starting in the early 70's all through the 90's. Mostly SLRs from the 80's on, but I have been known to use a point and shoot now and then (when I prefer something smaller/lighter). Have been strictly digital now since 2006. I have 2 working digital SLRs...a Nikon D200. Nikon D7000, plus a Canon PowerShot SX100IS. Both are great cameras, but I have developed (pun intended!) a preference for the D7000, even if I hate the mode knob (no locking ability to keep my camera in the preferred manual mode). I really enjoy digital along with the versatility it offers. Plus no more fumes! What's not to love! My hubby and I often go out shooting together. Photography is a passion that we both enjoy. Most of the photos here have been taken by me, but my hubby has also contributed some as well.
Photography has become a life long love. It's also my number one past time.
