A successful book or objet d'art allows for the viewer's imagination...so too should a photograph ...the actual subject is of importance only in it’s interpretation. I'll leave the philosophical discus- sions to others, for me it's about...putting a frame around the light... and making a print.
The D700 was chosen for it's high ISO performance, the Nikkor 24mm 1.4G ED for it's ability to isolate the subject, and the 28-300mm VRII for it's versatility. My images are handheld and the camera set for manual operation with Auto ISO...as the settings are dialed in the camera goes about finding a corresponding ISO...Auto Analog.
