Single, middle-aged bear back on the prowl for a soulmate after an 18-year relationship, trying to balance the social-networking pleasures of flickr against its ability to suck all the spare time out of a day. Photostream is equal parts blog, personal visual diary and blatant advertising. Comments are welcomed, though in the interest of time-management, I don't always respond to every single one.

Technically, I shoot with whatever is handy, which often these days is a point-n-shoot. 98% of what I print or post is full-frame; I'm not big on cropping.

I'm more interested in life than pictures.

If your whole flickr site is porn pics you've scanned out of magazines or pulled off the web, do me a favor and don't link to me as a contact. That's just creepy. And don't steal my photos and post them on your own site. That's even more f*cked-up.

If you'd like to put me on your contact list, great... but not if I go to your flickr, and see a "no photos available to you" message (this site is about sharing) or a zillion shots of your hard weenie (that's sharing a little too much, okay?)
