  "Two months ago, I literally could not have written this. Last year, following multiple major surgeries, I fell into a severe depression and had all but abandoned my passion for Photography. One day, I discovered the work of a Photographer with the curious name of Orbiting Sol. Unable to sit because of the pain, I fashioned a standing workspace where I followed his submissions almost daily. Soon, I too, was a FLICKR member. Thanks to this "Orbiting Sol" person, I now got up in the middle of the night, not because of pain, but to work on a project in Photoshop. I once again had the "looking forward to" sense that drives us all to live. Tom is a digital Shaman. A Wizard. A Jokester. He takes life seriously (Short lived bliss) and gives the universe a wedgie (Slider).
  Mostly, Tom is a gift to all of us. Years ago, someone condensed life down to this: People are either toxic or non-toxic. You either feel better or worse after experiencing their Aura.   "Should you decide to visit Orbiting Sol's Photostream, consider this a warning before you do. The man is not well. I suspect that someone left the asylum door open and he somehow escaped. Rumors have it that he lives inside his camera and sees "reality" from a whole other dimension than the one in which you and I live.
  
  Is he dangerous? Yes, very. Should you wander unsuspectingly into his Photostream, he will inflict untold damage upon your psyche. Never again will you see your "reality" in the same way. He will leave you uncertain about what is really "real". You may even find yourself unable to compose photos because he has so unsettled your universe. Visitors to his Photostream have been seen wandering the streets aimlessly taking photos that are, well, "Sol-ish".
