I have a camera with me most of the time, just in case. The camera lets me put the world around me into sharper focus than without it. It's a discovery I wouldn't want to miss.

Most of my photos, except for a very few, are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution License. I'm flattered if you would like to use one of my images on your blog or website, but please follow these guidelines: please attribute the image to Photo © year Britta Heise (check the EXIF data) and link back to the original flickr photo page . It is most frequently done correctly, but it's not appropriate to simply attribute to my flickr user name.
I'd also really appreciate it if you let me know where one of my photos was used by sending me a brief e-mail.
