Hi there. I am a recent transplant from Washington, DC to Washington state, where I live with my two dogs and my cat, and wait patiently (not patiently) for my husband to come home from his deployment in Iraq.

I write a blog called Openly Balanced, which is about finding equilibrium; in our lives, our communities, and on our planet. I also do some freelance consulting and web work for green companies.

Mostly, I practice living in the moment and taking life as one big adventure. Maybe eventually I'll get it down :).
