I'm just using point-and-shoot digital cameras right now, but look forward to the day when I can get myself a digital SLR, and the free time to focus on photography.

I've also been playing around with capturing images with my cell phone camera. It's a completely different aesthetic, and interesting in its own curious way. Maybe after another year or two I'll start daring to call it "art."

Of the older photos here, the Mindanao 1995 set of field photos were all taken with a friend's old Pentax K1000, using Kodachrome slide film. They were scanned into digital format this year, along with other images from my M.A. field research.
