I have been on Flickr for a while now and love seeing the talent of people hereI have learned so much from all the amazing work that is on Flickr On the way I acquired a DSLR as well
.
What I dont like is all he rubbish that appears to happen here.I thought Flickr was a site for photographers to show their talent and for learning from others.
I am not here to increase the amount of your contacts, votes on your photographs or anything else.
PLEASE do not add me as a contact if I do not know you or if you have a blockhead avatar, you will be blocked
I am NOT into groups where you have to add one and comment 4 or favour 6 , been there done that, that is not what photography is all about. Please do not post huge glittery images on my stream, they are pretty tacky
The photographs on my stream are of subjects I enjoy shooting and I hope you enjoy looking at them too

Photo used in the 11th edition and the latest 2011 edition of Schmap, Sydney.
If anyone is interested in buying any of my photographs, you can find me on Red bubble

Please don't use any images I have posted on flickr, on websites, blogs or other media without my explicit permission.

GPMTZ says:
"Val’s abundant talent in photography is readily evident in her beautiful photo stream. Just a quick glance and you will readily conclude that she should be working for New Zealand’s Department of Tourism. However, what makes Val’s work stand out is her combination of poignant text in conjunction with her incredible images. Each and every photo pulsates with Val’s compassion for humanity. I am fortunate to not only call Val a contact, but also a friend…a real friend. Not a friend in name only…but one who has picked me up when I was down, given me advice when I didn’t want to hear it…and stood by me when I needed a friend most."

Walter Hampson Photography says:
"It is always a pleasure to view this photostream as the photographer is very talented at what she takes. Her macro shots of flowers show great detail and her skill at composing the image shows as does her competency in using her camera. There are to many images for me to add comments to and the only way I can show my appreciation for the enjoyment her images bring is via this testimonial."
