Omnos on black: My images look far better against a black background than against the white pages used by flickr. The luminescent, back-lit glow of the colors tends to get overpowered and drained away by glaring white pages. (Imagine trying to view the stained glass windows in medieval cathedrals if they had white-painted walls lit by flood lights.)
