Photography has always been my passion. It is the art of capturing a fleeting moment or a subject and freezing it through my camera frame. This is my Fotographi, a gallery of my works.

I am a self taught photographer, gaining my know how from reading books and the internet as well as attending various photography workshops from well known masters in the art. I let the technicalities of this art guide me in coming up with good images. But I don’t limit myself to it. There are times when I see the need to tweak it, exploring every possibility in exposure, lighting and other technicality to come up with photos worth treasuring.

My chosen forte is portraiture, high fashion and glamour. But I also do weddings as well as landscapes and travel photography . It is a challenge for me to come up with portraits of people I shoot that they will cherish for generations to come. I can be a purist in shooting my pictures, nevertheless still proficient in post processing depending on the outcome I want to see.

I try to establish good rapport with my subjects or the clients that I shoot. In doing so, they surrender comfortably to the clicks of my camera.It is in this way that I produce the best shots since I don't believe in "good enough" work. My pictures should always have flawless details expected from me.

Mr. Omar S. Gallinero is a licensed Electronics and Communications Engineer from the University of Sto. Tomas. Currently he is a partner at Montage Digital Photography in Gen. Santos City and the past president of Gensan Camera Club. A businessman by profession, photography will always be his chosen media, an expression of his passion for the arts.
