  " Where does one begin, when writing of their impressions and feelings,after experiencing Nicola's world in imagery? For the first time?
  Every time for this artist,(Me), is a first , wonderful moment to discover Nicola's empathetic, unflinching photos, as a witness and reporter for the entire world. To see, its reflection of self, in the faces of others.
  Actually, every single image that I have ever seen of Nicola Okin Frioli, has affected me in one way or another. Makes me think and ponder about the vast , beautious and often terrifying myriad of cultures, customs and individuals in their daily lives.
  Makes me weep in empathy,compassion and suffering for such despair and suffering of others. Especially in the people captured through hunger/(malnutrition), poverty, oppression, cruelties from others and warring hostilities and disease.
  Or for their wonderful moments as well.
  At other times,The tears are happy, when they fall. Because his works can also make me smile and feel joy through his subjects own visual emotions.. Giving me hope in the betterment of humanity and the nicest elements of all human beings.
  I can still see some LIGHT in their eyes. Becaue they feel comfortable enough in this photographer . Also I see trust and feeling safe, in their eyes, when he is photographing them.
  Nicola has a prolific and growing collection of photo images, that tell the World about THE WORLD. Never ending, and always changing, he does not shirk or turn away from unpleasant scenes because they might anger local political factions or that they are not a "nice" photo to snap with his camera.
  Thank you so much Nicola Okin Frioli. I, myself, have seen and experienced many painful sufferings due to fear and misunderstandings and prejudices of others. Witnessed horror and cruelty towards man against his fellows, in some close up and far away places.
  Your spirit is the voice one hear's in the night , when one feels like they may be dying, and that no one hears their cries,prayers and pleas, or cares about their plight. YOU DO, care,very deeply.
  Blessings to you and respect, loyalty and admiration from me and many , many others, I am sure?
