I am an amatur architectural historian and middle-aged college kid, originally from North-central Oklahoma. I love to post and see images of historic buildings, mid-century interiors and furniture, and about anything else!

Most of my historic research - and pictures in my 'stream - is centered on Kay county, Oklahoma, where I grew up and still have ties.

I am happily married (Michelle) with one son (Clay) who is actually more mature than I am in a lot of ways.

I am a real child at heart and in my mind, never mind what my driver's license says! I have a wide sense of humor, somewhat warped in a lot of ways..... "LOL" will probably be a good epitat for my tombstone! My sense of humor is so dry, though, that often-times people don't get it... sorry!

My first time around in college, I studied architecture. Now, I am going back to gather a Masters and eventually a PhD in history. I will work to combine the two interests.

Architecture, no matter what style or how portrayed fascinates me. And details of buildings are particularly intriguing. I also love to draw (there are a few examples in my 'stream) and work to receate the types of architectual illustrations seen in the late 19th and early 20th C. But, if you look at the drawings I have done, I have a ways to go!

Many of the images I post are from my extensive collection of original historic negatives, a collection that spans the years from c1900 to c1979. Enjoy!
