Oisín is a singer / songwriter who has written and co-written material, which has been described by authoritive figures in the music industry as some of the best material heard by an unsigned artist in recent years.

From a very young age Oisín knew exactly what he wanted to achieve in life. Music is that life, and over the last three / four years he has worked relentlessly on his material and performance which have gained him a fast growing reputation in the music industry both in Ireland and Switzerland where he has been living since 2007.

As a teenager Oisín preformed with the well known Irish Youth Choir from Carlow, he won lead in the hit musical Grease and sung in the RTE radio production of Roger Hammerstein’s musical Carrousel, which featured on Ireland’s top rated entertainment show The Late Late Show.

His musical influences have been as diverse as has been his ability to deliver across different genre, with a family background in the traditional Sean-Nós style, his love for his native music has always been to the fore while artists like Michael Buble, James Morrison, Josh Groban, Paolo Nutini and the late Freddie Mercury are some of the artists that Oisín holds in high esteem.

The interest expressed by people within the industry toward Oisín is an endorsement of this unique and honest talent. With his passion for music, commitment, work rate, and disciplined approach to his art, is commendable and recognized by his peers.

Oisín moved to Switzerland to further his music career in 2007 where he was approached by a music producer who expressed an interest in working with him on a production within Switzerland, with a view to assisting his already escalating career.

A body of work was recording in 2007 with all tracks been mastered by Grammy award winner Gavin Lurssen of Lurssen Mastering, Los Angeles, California.

It is by choice that Oisín is an unsigned artist at this stage of his career, and he stands by the principle, that when his time comes, he will not only sign with the best in the business, but will be the best in the business for those who sign him. To all those who put their faith in him will receive a genuine gratitude, loyalty and the commitment of a true professional throughout his career.

In addition to playing various venues in Ireland, Switzerland and Germany, Oisín is presently preparing for an Irish tour with his band which will see the release of his debut EP in 2009.

In 2008 Oisín played The Stimmen Festival in Lorrach, Germany, where he was described as the find of the Festival. The Stimmen lineout was impressive and included some of the greatest artists in the world like Leonard Cohen, Paul Simon, The Everly Brothers and many more.
