I work in IT but have a love of Photography.
I have a few bits of Kit, namely-

Ricoh R8
and a few Film camera's that I wont go into, but include a medium format.
Why Pentax?
Well I had (still have) a Praktica MTL-5 SLR, which a got on my 16th birthday (ie a LONG time ago).And after a trip to Peru, i wanted something more modern with AF, and the Pentax MZ-5n was the best choice for me as it was the so similar to the praktica in control. Plus, with adapter I could use my M42 lenses.
When it came to digital, is was a can of a late user when it came to DSLR, but the DS arrived and it has gone from there. Until the K-5, Pentax have never really been a Pro camera, but I am so happy with it, it hurts.
It is just a shame that it took Pentax so long to catch up and indeed beat the big boys, but patience has been worthwhile.
