The Ottawa Duck Club is a non-profit organization, actively involved in working to improve the nesting habitat for waterfowl and other birds. The club's activities are centred at the Shirley's Bay Crown Game sanctuary situated along the Ottawa River, 15 kilometres west of the Parliament Buildings, on 4,000 acres of mixed fields, wetlands and woods behind the Connaught Rifle Ranges.
