Ocean lovers of all species find a second home on both sides of the screen at the San Francisco Ocean Film Festival (SFOFF), the first, largest, and most influential showcase of its kind in North America. Now in its sixth year, the festival returns February 19-22, 2009, to present more than 40 documentary, fictional, and animated films from around the world, including deep dives into marine science, coastal cultures, ocean exploration, and saltwater sports. Each program is followed by in-depth discussions with filmmakers and content experts, creating a unique public forum on the environmental, social, and cultural importance of marine resources.
