Living with journalist Birgitte Kjær.

For more than ten years I've been photographing (reportage, city life, portraits, nature) and setting up visual installations at clubs, concerts and commercial venues. - designing, production and content.

I founded my firm Obscura in 2001.

What is an Obscura-visual?: When I use the term
'visual' I mean an aesthetic visual installation that enhances a certain atmosphere in a room/area or is an art installation in itself. I primarily use my own material (photographs, video, motion graphics) for the content and project it upon walls, ceilings, water, floors etc. using videoprojectors. One example is projecting close-ups of flames all over the interior of an old church. What is an Obscura-photograph: When I compose a picture I search for clarity and simplicity. I try to catch perfect moments and I like to work with themes taking series of photos. I use state-of-the art equipment and know exactly how to get the best out of it. All my photos can be bought in signed and numbered prints mounted on dibond 3mm (max A1-size).
