Hi, Right off I am going to say ,,, I am not a photographer, you see I have this compulsion to take photos & irritate my friends .
I got started in the 60's great time . I was a kid in 6th grade when I got my first camera my dads old brownie,,, then in '67 or so I got a Kodak Instamatic 104 & it was on. I have had a camera in my hand ever since ,,I got a used 35mm when I was in high school , in those days that Instamatic was easier in 1967 to 69 well,,,,,, over 40 years wow
A few moths ago I had the misfortune of having some one break into my home they took the usual TV, DVD, but the thing they took that can't be replaced was my 35 & all my gear, it was the first one I bought new & it was just like yesterday when I got it & to think about it ,that 35 survived through two marriages ,,so it was a good old friend it went everywhere with me,, but not that day ,,I had got a little Olympus & I was having fun with it, & I got my old 35 a new hard case,,, Well I don't need to say my heart was broken OK I was pissed did I say was, I shot everything with it, my kids my friends & everything else ,,, I lasted 2 weeks ,the little one is nice but it cant do what I need to do ,,so I have been working on getting new equipment , not being a professional photographer who makes a living at it,, it's hard to justify buying all new equipment Digital is nice . People who would never have the opportunity to pick up a camera,, can get a little Digital & have fun and that's great, some of them have a good eye,,,,,,, I have said more then I wanted to ,,,,,,,,
