(EN) Olaf Koens is a freelance journalist currently based in Moscow. He was born in France, lived over 18 years in the Netherlands and moved to Belgium in 2005. Eversince he’s got the ‘wind under the souls of his feet‘.

(NL) Olaf Koens (Chatillon-sur-Seine, 1985) werkt in Rusland en de voormalige Sovjet-Unie als correspondent voor de GPD. Op freelance-basis, want naast zijn dagbladenwerk schrijft hij voor verschillende Nederlandse, Belgische en Russische publicaties, waaronder het weekblad Knack en The Moscow Times. “In dit gedeelte van de wereld liggen prachtige verhalen zomaar op straat, die moeten wel verteld worden.”
