I went to college for art, after which I became a programmer of sorts and wrote a piece of well-received web-based software. Neuroscience has captivated me for the past couple of years, and will likely be the direction I point for the next "big thing" I attempt to accomplish.

I play the guitar, but any semblance of singing ability eludes me.

I like food and complicated logic and pretty things. Photography is great for two of the three.

I have always loved physics. I was nearly obsessed with all things atomic bomb for several years, but I've chilled out to a healthy level now. My favorite physicist is Feynman.

My cameras continue to get fancier. The beginning of my photostream was shot with a pocket camera (Canon S230), then I got a slightly better pocket camera (Canon SD700-IS). Thanksgiving 2007 I got a Nikon D80 (my first ever SLR).

I've been a flickr member since November 7, 2005.

I've spent time in these states, but I have an idea to travel for a year and do 50 states (plus DC) in 52 weeks, staying a week in each of the 51 locations, then returning to my favorite one for the 52nd week. My wife isn't so keen on the idea... yet.
