I love exploring the Chicago area for photo opps.
The beauty of the midwest is the subtle kind that is only revealed when the eye is ready to see. There are no majestic mountains, towering water falls, or magical forests. Only the ephemeral clouds, momentary bursts of color and fleeting images of beauty at the right place at the magic hour. It is the kind of beauty that is better experienced in the isolation of a framed photo than the overwhelming kind that demands attention and gets it.

I am interested in creating web applications. My first and longest running app is flickstr. It is an app that creates a weekly top 20 listing of photographers on flickr.
