Hi. Thanks for viewing my images. I am simply an amature photographer who enjoys the thrill of learning the art of photography and then applying what I've learned in my photographic efforts. I am not a professional, nor do I aspire to be one. I engage in photography because I enjoy it, not because I want to make a living out of it. I know the current limits in my skills, and hope someday to improve those skills, but until then, I will have fun exploring the world through my camera lens.

My images are not of any one subject matter, style, or particular theme. They are images of the world around me as I see it, and as I pass through it. I haven't much time to make special trips to some of the beautiful places in this world in order to capture truly magnificant scenery, as so many wonderful photogs love to do. I wish I had more time for such adventures, but I am perfectly happy snapping images in my own backyard as I would be taking pictures in the Grand Tetons. (And now I have been to the Grand Tetons - and what a rush! We'll be going back in the Fall of '08 and I can't wait.)

One of my current goals is to acquire a dedicated macro lens (finally) and start taking macro shots. I love macro photgraphy and am looking forward to being able to engage in this aspect of my hobby again.
