The New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) is one of the nation's largest addiction services systems. We are making tremendous strides on behalf of the 2.5 million New Yorkers who are dealing with drug, alcohol or gambling addiction. Through the efforts of more than 1,550 programs across our state, we are reaching 110,000 New Yorkers on any given day with a premier system of addiction services in prevention, treatment and recovery.
