Activity on Flickr is a bit slow at the moment as my work load has increased somewhat in the last few months.
I expect a modicum of normalcy to resume sometime in May 2010. Hopefully.

Well after a year on Flickr I guess I ought to amend my profile a touch....

I originally joined Flickr to have somewhere to lodge photos for my blog. But as seems often the case this has taken on a life of it's own and I now seem to spend a fair amount of time on Flickr.
I usually hang out on the ID groups ID Please, What Plant is That, What Flower is This, which are fun and a great place to learn about various plants and animals.

A whinging pom who moved to Australia. (Although I do try not to whinge too much)
I'm an ex-horticulturalist, working conservationist, trained biotechnologist, manic botanist, lapsed ornithologist, hobbying biologist with an an all round interest in natural history that started as far back as I can remember... at least last week, possibly longer?
I also like music. Some music.
After living in the UK for many years in 2005 I moved to Tasmania, which (amongst many things) is very windy.
If I'm not hanging out on Flickr I'm usually browsing scienceblogs, Panda's Thumb, etc.
If you crave more details check out my likes, although to be honest I'm more readily defined by my dislikes...
