The Nuthouse Gallery serves as an exhibition platform for urban contempory art. The artists represented focus mainly on street art and graffiti, however, they are not limited to these styles. The NUTHOUSE GALLERY presents its work in Karlsruhe. Exhibitions take place at regular intervals and show the current work of active street art artists. The NUTHOUSE GALLERY presents the different facets of the global Graffiti movement, from its classic beginnings with “style writing” all the way to three-dimensional nameplates which lead to surreal and abstract designed “Character- and Designer – Toys.” The viewer is provided insight into the worldwide scene and shown the background and motivation of the artists. The viewer is also given the ability to understand the works.


Die Nuthouse Gallery bietet eine Plattform zur Präsentation von zeitgenössischer urbaner Kunst. In regelmässigen Abständen finden Ausstellungen statt, in denen die aktuellen Arbeiten aktiver Streetart-Künstlerinnen und Künstlern dokumentiert werden. Präsentiert werden hier die unterschiedlichen Facetten der weltweiten Urban Art Bewegung von den klassischen Anfängen des Stylewriting über dreidimensionale Schriftzüge, Schablonen-Graffiti bis hin zu surrealen und abstrakt gestalteten Figuren und Designer-Toys. Ein kleiner Einblick in die globusumspannende Szene wird hier vermittelt um die Hintergründe und Motive der Künstler nachvollziehen zu können.
