I'm Lauren and I'm 19 years old. I've always been taken with photography, even at a young age. I wasn't sure what it meant at the time, but I loved seeing pretty pictures. I guess that's where it came from for me. I don't pretend to be a good photographer, because I know I'm not. I take pictures because it preoccupies my mind and it makes me happy. Why else should one do something they love? There are so so many talented individuals here on flickr, and I love that they're brave and strong enough to share their souls with the world. I can only hope that my ability grows with time and practice, so that I may be as good as some of the photographers on here.
