I'm a freelance translator and a freewheeling researcher. As for photography, I started taking photos (mainly slides) in the late 1980s - early 1990s, when cellphones and digital cameras were still a curiosity and surely not as ubiquitous as today.
I have acquired some photographic experience over the years, yet I don't consider myself a Pro: there's still so much to learn. For this reason I eagerly welcome feedback here on flickr. The views counter on my page shows a constant activity on a daily basis, but I receive very little feedback. I can't interpret this. I have no idea if any of my photos strike you somehow. Or not. Whether you're a professional photographer caring to share some advice, or a simple amateur like myself, your feedback is useful to help me improve.
(None of the photos posted here is in any way retouched with Photoshop. In a couple of cases I have simply improved the contrast a bit, and there's the occasional cropping to eliminate unwanted details which may interfere.)
I speak Italian, English and Spanish, so you can leave comments in any of these languages.
Thank you.
