So...I've been taking pictures for some 30 odd years, seriously for the first couple, then not so much until 2003. Since then I've been exploring, developing and improving (hopefully) as an artist and as one who shoots with a definite perspective, if not a consistent approach.

My photos are as likely to be abstract as traditional, with colors brilliant or muted depending on my state of mind.

I've learned the value of good equipment, but know that some of my best shots were with my least costly.

I use Nikon cameras and lenses because for what I do, there is nothing better. Well, that and it is what I have invested some six bodies and even more lenses in.

Most of my images come from the many trips I make to wondrous locations around the world. I'm truly fortunate to have had someone else pay for at least part of most of my travels as travel is a passion - waking up in a country where most everyone is speaking a different language than my own is a great inspiration to go out and learn about what they are seeing.
