I received my first sewing machine as a college graduation gift. I quickly signed up for some classes and started learning to quilt, but all of my projects soon started collecting dust in the closet when I started a graduate degree. Now that I'm finally done with school for good, I've rediscovering my interest in sewing. I work full time as a software engineer, so I find that sewing gives me a fun way to get away from the computer and be creative after work. I started sewing baby items for my niece and nephew, and had so much fun with the patterns and fabrics that I just kept sewing them! Since then, I've branched out into some fun bags and accessories for adults as well.
