i am primarily trained as a Fine Artist, but earn a living as a graphic designer, 'cause I didn't have the bottle to try and make it as an artist! My interest in photography goes back to Foundation Art, as my art was always linked to the photographic image somehow. I only ever really thought of photography as another contributing medium toward the finished artwork, but it's taken until now for me to accept it as a ligitimate medium of expression (for my own work that is) in its own right. Also, I can now produce images in photography that I would only painstakingly reproduce by hand in another medium - life's too short. Time's precious!!
