A few years ago I needed a hobby.
Since I've never been particulary passioned about anything but reading, I sat down and contemplated on what I loved.
I love art (even though I'm not an artist), I love nature and staying outdoors (even though I'm not a hiking buff) and I love traveling (even though I don't do it enough).
So, an idea formed.
Why not buy a camera and fasten all those moments of inspiration on film (or disc for that matter).

So I bought a Canon digital rebel (EOS 300D) and started shoothing away.
After only 2000 frames or so, I realized I wasn't any good at photography, I was dead broke and going to university.
So I sold the rebel for an incredibly low price, payed the rent and started school.

All through winter I missed my rebel, all through spring I thought of buying another one.

Then, in a frenzy at London Heathrow, I ran into Dixons and bought another EOS 350D (it's quite good enough for me, having so little talent but so much love of photography).

I never realized that I had fallen in love with photography, untill I had charged the battery of my new rebel, fastened the kit lense on the body and pushed down the button.
I was hooked.

I hope I get better at this and will be able to show you some great pictures in the future, but for now, you have to settle for mediocre.

Now I have a son and most of my time is devoted to him and it shows in my pictures.
I promise this will let up someday :-)
