Have a look and post some photos at the Available Darkness flickr group.

My Dad taught me contact printing at 7, and my first camera was, of course, a Box Brownie. I wish I still had it. I own and use Canon 5D; Olympus E-P2; Leica M6 and IIIf. I fondle older Japanese rangefinders. Send me your unloved chrome beauties!

I like the following philosophy: (1) as Ernst Haas advised, "The best wide angle lens? Two steps backwards", (2) Weegee's advice of "f8 and be there...." and (3) visualize first, shoot second. The best camera is the one behind your eyes.
Oh and (4) have a camera with you as often as you can - no camera, no pictures.

"Norm is the man who inspired me to go down the path of the photography on a DSLR. I have known Norm for quite a few years now and found him to be so passionate about this art form, he is always there to offer advise, lend and pass on equipement whenever I have needed it.

Without knowing Norm I don't think I would be as passionate about photography as I am today, Thanks for everything you have done for me Norm, past and present.

    Jason"
