First it was a Polaroid camera that my sister and I shared. This was the early 80's and the thing was HUGE. It may or may not have wieghed more than we did. Or well, it seemed that way at the time.

Then came my dad's SLR, and grade 10 photography class. I loved photography back then... photography, however, didn't really love me back.

The end of high school, and into college, and my dad's SLR had now been handed down to me... by default I suppose. The ol' Pentax K1000. Bestest camera ever.

With college graduation, and too much time on my hands, came the LOMO, Action Sampler, 2 Brownies, 3 Polaroids, a l'il Canon point and shoot, and still holding strong ... my dad's SLR.

All of the above are now collecting dust back in Canada... except for the LOMO, which is somewhere in the South China sea (It's a long story - R.I.P).

That brings me to now, fully in the midst of the digital revolution... (or what I used to call "the devil's work").

One day soon I'll rescue my old toys from my parents basement, but until then it'll have to be about the megapixel love.
